Sonic Bloom Music Festival Overview

SONIC BLOOM is a music festival for the party animals and the chill-vibed spirits alike. It’s a festival accepting of those from all walks of life and it encourages the cultivation of new ideas, lasting friendships, spiritual well-being, and powerful music.

Taking place this year at Hummingbird Ranch in Spanish Peaks Country, CO from Thursday June 14 – Monday June 18, it will be four full days devoted to workshops, guest speakers, yoga, art, meditation, and a collection of music. Artists like Liquid Stranger, Keys N Krates, Nightmares on Wax, and Shpongle will bring three stages to life with their distinct, radiant sounds and light shows. Sonic Bloom has over fifty artists in its lineup, which is staggering but that does not even break the surface tension of the water. While walking between the mache of music, you will find painters and weavers peacefully working on their trades. You can be apart of slackline demonstrations and meditative nature sittings. You can be taught the ways of core hooping and rock stacking, or follow a guide through mindful reflections. Even magic and dragonstaff handling has its place at Bloom. There is a full schedule of unique activities taking place throughout the weekend, it may not be possible to hit them all. Although, that’s what Sonic Bloom is all about; having the wind gracefully guide you through micro-adventures and allowing your heartbeats to resonate the steady tempos of the music you find most interesting in the changing moments. Wade your feet through the chilled streams and hang your hammock under the shadiest trees to focus on the thought of passive calm that may just stay with you long after the campsite is packed up and you make your way back into the world, renewed.

The Squad of BEN After Dark will be at Sonic Bloom 2018 providing official media coverage hand-in-hand with our boys from our sister company The Chronic Electronic. We hope you will join us on our latest adventure and check in after the festival to see how it all went. You can find the artist lineup and activities schedule on Sonic Bloom’s facebook page
